Mutation box viruses & bacteria

A secure box with a virus or bacteria which are subjected to radiation in order to make them mutate with the goal of creating a virus that spreads more easily but with fewer side effects in order to replace the dangerous virus/bacteria. The goal is to generate antibodies to achieve herd immunity with noone getting really sick.
